Tami
has been in the business of organization, marketing and graphic design since
starting her first business in 1993 at the age of 23. An entrepreneur by
genetics, she left the freelance world in January of 2002 to join her mother's
real estate team as Director of Marketing and Concierge Services.
Along with Sharon, Tami is a trainer for
the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, teaching their certification course
around the country. A frequent speaker and panelist nationwide, she served
a term on the Advisory Board for RE/MAX International’s luxury home
division.
Born in Newport, Rhode Island, Tami spent
many of her formative years in Tennessee before moving to St. Petersburg
in 1986. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School shortly thereafter
and then received a bachelor’s
degree in Visual Art from Eckerd College in 1992. After college, she was
recruited by Stouffer Hotels & Resorts and helped to re-open the historic
Vinoy Resort. After a brief transfer to Baltimore’s Harborplace Hotel,
she opened her first business as a professional organizer.
Her background as a luxury resort concierge resulted in the Team's unique
concierge program that takes client service to a new level in their Florida
market. Tami is particularly adept at helping clients relocating to the St.
Petersburg area get acquainted with their new community and engaged in activities
that suit them.
Committed to community involvement, Tami
has more than twelve years of non-profit board experience. She has specific
experience in strategic planning, board governance, bylaws development
and transition implementation. Tami ensures that volunteerism and good
corporate citizenship are integral parts of her life, personally and professionally.
She serves as Chairman for the City of St. Petersburg’s Human Relations
Review Board among other activities. An active member of Business and Professional
Women (BPW), she served as State President for BPW/FL and served two terms
on the BPW/USA Board of Directors in addition to her local involvement.
