With approximately 600 homeowners, Broadwater is a diverse, robust community. With this map you can more easily see certain features of the neighborhood which contribute to it's overall character. First, you can see the importance of water, hence the name. The neighborhood's 13 cul-de-sacs make it possible for such a large number of waterfront homes. Although only about 10 percent of the homes have that "broad water" view, a majority of the residents have easy access by boat to the wide open waters of Boca Ciega Bay in only a few minutes. Unlike many waterfront comunities with mazes of canals that boaters must navigate to get to open water, in Broadwater, those with out a straight shot only need to negotiate a left turn and a slight right.
